Sydni Spradlin
Lighting Designer
I am currently employed at Amazon as an Event Support Engineer/ LD. I received two Bachelor's of Arts in Criminology and Psychology from the University of Lynchburg. During my time at Lynchburg I worked in the scene shop as the Assistant Technical Director, and completed numerous lighting designs for the theatre department. I then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Alabama department of Theatre and Dance where I supervised undergrad students working in the scene shop. These experiences made me fall in love with theatre and lead me to follow the crazy entertainment path!

I am an Eos programmer with experience in lighting networking over sACN and DMX. I have worked with conventional rigs as well as intelligent and moving rigs. I have designed live coding competitions, short films, dance, musicals, straight plays, art installations, interdisciplinary performances and corporate events. I also work with Vectorworks, Lightwright, and Augmented to bring 3D models and pre-visualization to life.

In my free time I enjoy reading (Fantasy, SciFi, Romance, and Fiction). You can also find me playing video games with my friends or playing board games. I also love many creative outlets such as painting and drawing.
